What to Expect
Kataragama (60 km, 40 minutes from port) — A place famous among Hindu devotees. Also popular among Buddhist people in Sri Lanka. According to religious beliefs, miracles are said to exist in this land as told throughout history.

- Kiri Vehera — Ancient Buddhist stupa
- Tissa Wewa — Scenic reservoir
- Boat ride — Various bird species and crocodiles can be seen. A 20-minute ride.
