1. Company Information
These terms govern all services provided by DN Tours (PVT) LTD, a private limited company registered in Sri Lanka under the Companies Act No. 7 of 2007. Our registered office is located in Hambantota, Southern Province, Sri Lanka.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon written confirmation via WhatsApp, email, or our booking system.
- A booking is considered confirmed once we send you a confirmation message with tour details, date, time, and pricing.
- No advance payment is required for standard tours. Payment is collected at the start of the tour in USD cash or by mutual arrangement.
3. Pricing
- All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars (USD) and are per tour (not per person), unless stated otherwise.
- Prices include private air-conditioned transport and a professional English-speaking guide.
- Prices do not include national park entrance fees, museum tickets, meals, tips, or personal expenses unless explicitly stated.
- We reserve the right to adjust prices due to fuel cost changes or government-imposed fee increases, with advance notice.
4. Cancellation by the Guest
- More than 24 hours before: Free cancellation, no charge.
- Less than 24 hours before: We appreciate advance notice but understand plans change. No cancellation fee for first-time cancellations.
- No-show: If you do not appear at the agreed pickup location without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee equivalent to 50% of the tour price.
5. Cancellation by DN Tours
We may cancel or reschedule a tour due to severe weather, national park closures, government restrictions, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or a rescheduled date at your choice. We will notify you as early as possible.
6. Hambantota Port Shore Excursions
For shore excursion guests from Hambantota International Port, we guarantee return to the port with adequate time before departure. In the unlikely event that our service causes you to miss your ship, we will arrange and cover the cost of transport to the next port of call.
7. Safety & Liability
- All our vehicles are fully insured, regularly serviced, and meet Sri Lankan road safety standards.
- Our guides follow all national park and wildlife sanctuary regulations. Guest safety is our top priority.
- DN Tours is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage resulting from guest negligence, failure to follow guide instructions, or force majeure events.
- Wildlife sightings (leopards, whales, elephants) are natural occurrences and cannot be guaranteed.
8. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward wildlife, cultural sites, local communities, and our staff. We reserve the right to end a tour without refund if a guest's behavior endangers others or violates park/site regulations.
9. Photography & Reviews
By participating in our tours, you grant DN Tours permission to use anonymized tour photographs for marketing purposes (website, social media). If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka, specifically the Magistrate's Court of Hambantota.
